In this video, we have explained the administration of injection #adenosine in treatment of Supraventricular tachycardia or #SVT and its effect in 48 year old female patient with #ecg rhythm of SVT. Adenosine can be given both from peripheral and central IV access. The initial dose of adenosine preferred in SVT is 6 mg and should be given over 1 to 3 seconds, or administered very quickly, and should be followed with an IV fluid solution to push it into circulation.
